Jewelry Care
Remove jewelry before bathing. Avoid any contact with water as it may loosen, stretch, or break the silk string and it may tarnish metal beads.
Avoid excessive pulling and tugging as this may also result in stretching to the silk string which can result in breakage.
The natural silk string will slightly stretch over time and the necklace may elongate, the string may eventually need to be replaced and restrung.
When not in use, store your crystal necklace away from heat and humidity, preferably in the jewelry box.
All metal beads (copper, gold, silver, rose gold) have been coated with a water-based lacquer. While this lacquer inhibits tarnish, it will not completely prevent it. Over time metals can tarnish and darken, please store jewelry in a dry area, ideally with anti tarnish materials. Avoid using any solvents or jewelry cleaner to polish metal and gemstone beads. Jewelry polishing cloth is recommended to remove tarnish and bring beads back to their original brightness. Avoid getting beads wet as this may cause tarnishing.
Please be aware when you wear long mala necklace that the tassel and bead may snag on objects and become damaged. Avoid pulling and tugging as it may fray and become loose. If the tassel gets frizzy, dampen fingers with water and run through the tassel gently until it becomes smooth again, lay flat to dry.
